Fire and Security Engineer

Leeds or surrounding areas.

Salary: £32,000–£39,000 base, with uncapped OTE up to £55,000. Benefits include 25 days + bank holidays per annum, fuel card, company vehicle, full training and a personal progression plan through the Academy, and overtime opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance and servicing of life safety systems across a variety of sites.
• Perform remediation work on fire and security systems.
• Conduct fault finding on fire and security systems, emergency lighting and fire extinguishers.
• Ensure high‑standard service inspections are completed within agreed timescales and resolve issues by identifying problems and offering effective solutions.
• Work with fire alarms, emergency lighting, fire extinguishers and security systems.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum two years’ experience in a similar role.
• Valid full UK driving licence.
• GENT training desirable; training can be provided to the right candidate.
• Participation in the out‑of‑hours call‑out rota (approximately one callout in five weeks) and willingness to support emergency callouts when on call.
