Job Summary
Lead a variety of shifts – opens, closes, and weekends – from pre‑shift briefings to delegating tasks, while consistently engaging and motivating your team. Coach your team through regular, honest feedback, creating a workplace people genuinely want to join. Understand rotas, stock, labour, and KPIs such as NPS, sales, and gross profit, and support the General Manager when performance deviates from targets. Handle escalated customer complaints with confidence and maintain allergen and food safety standards across the team. Support recruitment of new starters and help them feel set up to succeed from day one. Be a visible, welcoming host on the floor and help build your lounge’s reputation as the go‑to spot in the local community.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a variety of shifts, including opening, closing, and weekend operations.
- Conduct pre‑shift briefings, delegate duties, and maintain continuous motivation for the team.
- Coach team members through regular and honest feedback.
- Monitor rotas, stock, labour, and KPIs (NPS, sales, gross profit) and support the General Manager with corrective actions.
- Handle escalated customer complaints effectively and uphold allergen and food safety standards.
- Support recruitment and onboarding of new staff to ensure successful integration.
- Act as a visible and welcoming host to reinforce the lounge’s reputation within the local community.
What You’ll Bring
