Assistive Technology Support Officer
Contract Type: Fixed term contract/internal secondment opportunity for a period of 18 months
Working Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:30am – 5:00pm
Worker Type: Hybrid Worker
Salary: Grade E – Starting Salary £28,598 (Level one) rising to £31,022 (Level four) per annum
Location: Harvey Road (NG8 3BB)
About the Role
The postholder will support the Assistive Technology Development Manager in providing a customer‑focused service for Assistive Technology customers. The role involves delivering information on Assistive Technology (AT) to existing and new customers, enabling them to select appropriate product packages for their needs, and supporting ongoing research for new and innovative AT solutions for the team.
Responsibilities
- Provide customers with tailored information on Assistive Technology products.
- Support the selection of correct product packages to meet individual needs.
- Assist in the ongoing research and development of new AT solutions.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver high‑quality, customer‑centric services.
Qualifications
- Awareness and understanding of the needs of people with long‑term conditions to enable independent living.
- Customer‑focused approach with a focus on resolving issues.
- Experience in implementing recording systems, monitoring actions, and outcomes to measure and monitor service delivery performance.
- Knowledge of Assistive Technology and its impact on managing long‑term conditions.
- Experience working with different agencies and organisations to achieve shared goals.
Full UK driving licence required.
