Job Overview

The Class 2 Driver (Days) role in Cheltenham involves operating an HGV vehicle for a local wholesaler. The position is full‑time, Monday to Friday, with a start time around 07:00. Pay is £14.50 per hour and offers ad‑hoc, ongoing work with a temp‑to‑perm pathway for suitable candidates.

Responsibilities

• Operate a curtain‑side HGV vehicle with forklift loading only – no handball required.
• Complete multi‑drop deliveries and collections, up to 15 per day.
• Provide excellent customer service to all clients.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) licence, CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Maximum 9 points for minor offences.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
• Professional and customer‑focused attitude.
