What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for passionate team players to bring joy to our customers every day. As a Senior Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving operational excellence across the region, supporting the wider Senior Leadership Team and ensuring the smooth daily operation of our sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Succession: support recruitment, onboarding and build robust succession plans; model Pret values, embrace Thoughtful Leadership principles and promote team wellbeing.
  • Drive Your Business: coach managers to deliver outstanding customer service and food quality; manage P&L, forecasting, rota, ordering and production; analyse results and respond proactively to challenges.
  • Drive and Embed Change: act as an ambassador for change, communicate new standards and initiatives, give constructive feedback and keep the team informed of business changes.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership – develop and deliver regional strategy aligned to company goals.
  • People Leadership – manage complex people and HR matters, role‑model Pret behaviours.
  • Results & Standards – act as a role model for high standards and drive strong regional results.
  • Growing the Business – work closely with internal and external partners to improve performance.
  • Mentorship & Development – mentor and support NTP and newly promoted Operations Managers.
  • Stepping Up – deputise in the Head of Operations’ absence, supporting the Region and SLT.
  • Collaboration – build strong relationships across regions and with the Support Centre.
  • Continuous Improvement – challenge the status quo, focusing on solutions and excellence.

About the Role

Full‑time (42 hours per week).

Reports to the Head of Operations.

Pay & Benefits

  • £71,175 – £74,675 base salary and up to 30% bonus.
