Opticore IT are currently searching for a Senior Network Engineer to maintain and support the current state multi-vendor network estate and deliver updates and upgrades as they arise. This opportunity is joining an internationtal law firm client based in the office 2 days a week in central London.
Opticore IT is a specialist Network Engineer and Project Management consultancy offering a wide variety of opportunities to work within fast-paced, challenging environments across our client base spanning multiple sectors including Finance, Broadcast Media, Telecommunications and more.
What you’ll be doing:
- Deliver on projects against the evolving priorities
- Hands-on support and maintenance of a multi-vendor estate spanning across:
- Cisco Catalyst 9300 series and Nexus switching.
- The firewall estate, primarily FortiGate
- Palo Alto Prisma Access
- Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers
- VeloCloud SDWAN
What you’ll bring:
- Core networking fundamentals across Layer 2 and Layer 3, including routing protocols BGP and OSPF
- Cisco Catalyst 9300 series and Nexus switching
- Palo Alto Prisma Access
- FortiGate firewalls
- Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers and VeloCloud SD-WAN
