Maintenance Engineer

This role is for a Maintenance Engineer in Stafford, offering a permanent, full-time contract with a salary between £40,000 and £45,000 per annum, paid weekly. Working a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern of 12-hour shifts, you will maintain and improve production machinery performance, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.

The position requires a multi-skilled engineer with mechanical and electrical experience from an FMCG or manufacturing background.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct planned preventative maintenance
• Troubleshoot faults
• Support continuous improvement across the site

Key Qualifications

• Experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical)
• 18th Edition qualified (essential)
• Previous experience within an FMCG, food manufacturing or production environment (highly desirable)
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement
