Apply for the Product Manager
Location: London
Job Description:

Overview

Believ, formerly known as Liberty Charge, is a Charge Point Operator (CPO) focused on delivering a reliable and scalable electric vehicle charging network in the UK. We collaborate with local authorities and businesses to deploy high-quality charging infrastructure at pace and scale. As part of a scale-up journey supported by Liberty Global and Zouk Capital, you will join a cross-functional Tech team focused on enabling Believ’s operations.

Role

Digital Product Manager to join the Tech team, owning the internal operational tools that underpin Believ’s ability to deploy and manage EV charging infrastructure at scale. You will define and drive the roadmap for internal tools, partnering with operations, engineering, and commercial stakeholders to ensure teams have the technology to perform at their best.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in internal tooling or operational platform products, a data-driven prioritisation approach, and the ability to align a broad set of stakeholders around a clear product direction.

Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap: Own and evolve a multi-quarter roadmap for Believ’s internal operational tools aligned to scaling ambitions. Translate operational pain points and business goals into a prioritised backlog of high-impact product initiatives. Define and track clear success metrics and use data to prioritise and measure outcomes. Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and reduce operational overhead as the business scales.
  • Stakeholder Management & Discovery: Build strong relationships with operations, field teams, commercial, and finance stakeholders. Conduct structured discovery (interviews, observation, data analysis) to surface unmet needs and validate hypotheses. Facilitate regular roadmap reviews and communicate trade-offs clearly. Represent internal users within the Tech team at all stages of product development.
  • Delivery & Execution: Own the upstream delivery phases (problem framing, solution exploration, requirements definition, acceptance criteria). Collaborate with engineering leads and Head of Product to ensure clear handoffs and well-scoped work. Monitor progress, remove blockers, and communicate status throughout the lifecycle. Contribute to agile ceremonies and advocate lean, iterative ways of working.
  • Operational Scaling & Continuous Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in operational workflows, advocate for continuous improvement, and use user feedback and performance data to iterate on tools. Stay informed on industry trends in operational tooling, field service management, and internal platform development. Support documentation and user guides as needed.

About You / Qualifications

  • Experience: 4+ years as a Product Manager with a track record of owning internal tools or operational platforms.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication; ability to translate complex problems into clear product requirements for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Analytical Mindset: Comfortable using data to define metrics, measure impact, and drive prioritisation decisions.
  • Agile & Lean Practices: Experience in agile delivery with a lean, iterative mindset.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to zoom out to ensure the roadmap solves the right problems at the right time. Willingness to own priorities, push back constructively, and drive operational impact. Focus on measurable outcomes over feature volume. Resilience and adaptability in a fast-growing scale-up.
  • Inclination to learn and collaborate in a dynamic environment; enthusiasm for cutting carbon emissions and enabling cleaner mobility.

Location & Working Pattern

Location: Office-based in Southwark; full-time, hybrid with three in-office days (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday).

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and bonus scheme
  • 25 days’ annual leave, plus 8 UK Bank Holidays, with option to purchase up to 5 additional days per year
  • Wellbeing and mental health benefits, private medical insurance, and other coverages
  • Pension contribution matched up to 10%
  • Car benefit and cycle-to-work schemes
  • Access to online learning platform for career development
  • Volunteer Time Off (16 hours a year)
  • Discounts with Virgin Media / O2 and access to arena suites
  • Enhanced parental leave policies
  • Core office hours: 10am–4pm, Mon–Fri
