Description
Startup Software House based in London looks for a Software Architect with expertise in Python Django design and development, including Big Data and AI/Machine Learning to build better infrastructure for clients worldwide. The role requires a natural leader, excellent problem solver, analytical thinker, and a curiosity to innovate. Primary focus is on the backend, but front‑end skills (React, Angular) are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Architecture design
- Writing effective, scalable code
- Developing back‑end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance
- Integrating user‑facing elements into applications
- Improving functionality of existing systems
- Implementing security and data protection solutions
- Mentoring and coaching team members
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 7 years (or equivalent) in software development and design
- 3+ years of Python / Django experience
- Experience with MySQL and web technologies is advantageous
- Degree in Computer Science or similar preferred
- Proven leadership and analytical thinking
Work Arrangement
Remote UK job with requirement to be in the office once every two weeks (East London).
Benefits
Salary up to £75,000‑£80,000 per annum, flexi hours, and additional benefits.
