About the role

justteachers are supporting a primary school in Nuneaton to recruit a Year 2 Class Teacher. This is a full‑time role with a September 2026 start, fixed term until the end of the Autumn term. The role includes full class responsibilities including planning, assessment, parents’ evenings and report writing. The school has a welcoming KS1 team, strong phonics provision and supportive leadership, with regular CPD and shared planning opportunities. The school is keen to appoint a teacher with strong classroom management and previous KS1 experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Year 2 lessons across the curriculum
• Complete full teaching responsibilities including assessment
• Support pupils’ progress and attainment
• Work collaboratively with the KS1 team

Pre-requisites

• Qualified Teaching Status or equivalent
• Proven experience in Primary Education
• A minimum of two references that cover the past two years, including last employer. Ideally references will be education or school‑based references
