Assistant Manager

Hi, I’m Dan, and I run the Duke of Wellington on Portobello Road. Our pub features in the opening scenes of Notting Hill and has a long history dating back to 1854. We retain original features, including a 360° bar and fireplaces, and we welcome visitors from around the world.

We are building a team of passionate and fun people to pour drinks at the outside bar in summer, chat with guests at the bar, take orders and serve food in our Dining Room & Snug, or host events at our upstairs Peacock Room. In the kitchen, our team delivers a bespoke menu of freshly prepared meals, buffets, and canapes for function guests. Our Front of House team is led by Geo, Jan, Mike & Scott, and we are focused on developing our people for future career steps within Young’s.
