Level 3 Early Years Practitioner – EYFS & 1:1 Support

Location: DE22 Hours: Full–Time – 5 days per week Start Date: September 2026 (or ASAP) Contract: Long–Term

Are you a passionate and qualified Early Years Practitioner looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference to a child’s development while being part of a supportive Early Years team? We are seeking a Level3 qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our thriving Early Years unit on a full‑time basis. This role offers a unique blend of dedicated1:1 support and wider classroom‑based responsibilities within our Early Years provision.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide 1:1 support for a child currently attending two days per week. During these days, you will play a key role in supporting the child’s learning, development, engagement and overall wellbeing. As the child’s attendance increases over time, the proportion of1:1 support will grow accordingly. Until then, for the remaining three days each week, you will work across the Early Years unit, supporting children and staff in delivering a stimulating, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

We Are Looking For Someone Who

  • Holds a full and relevant Level3 Early Years qualification
  • Has experience working within an EYFS setting
  • Is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development
  • Can build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
  • Demonstrates patience, empathy and adaptability
  • Works well both independently and as part of a team
  • Has knowledge of safeguarding and child development within the Early Years Foundation Stage
