Overview

Software Development Manager roles for a leading software house. The role entails managing multiple MS .Net development teams in a SCRUM environment, both in-house and offshore. Lead teams of developers, business analysts and testers; drive development and release of product lines.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple SCRUM teams (in-house and offshore) of developers, business analysts, and testers.
• Provide leadership and set direction for team leads and developers.
• Handle hiring, appraisals, salary reviews, training and career development.
• Ensure delivery of web applications using ASP.Net, C#, MVC, SQL Server, HTML, JavaScript.
• Maintain strong communication with senior management and report progress to CIO.
• Champion Agile/SCRUM practices and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate across departments to achieve product line objectives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a software development manager or senior technical lead.
• Strong people‑management skills, with ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Knowledge of Microsoft .Net stack (ASP.Net, C#, MVC, SQL Server) and web development.
• Experience in Agile/SCRUM project delivery and managing offshore teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation, time‑management and reporting skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
