At Framatome, we’re helping shape the future of low-carbon energy by delivering innovative engineering solutions to the UK’s nuclear industry. As a global leader in nuclear technology, we support the design, maintenance, and optimisation of nuclear power plants worldwide, with safety, innovation, and sustainability at the heart of everything we do.

With over 20,000 employees across more than 70 locations globally, and a growing UK team, there’s never been a better time to join us. As we continue to expand our presence across the UK nuclear sector, we’re looking for talented engineers who want to be part of an industry that powers millions of homes while supporting the transition to net zero.

  • Work closely with Lead Engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Produce engineering deliverables including:
  • Control architecture drawings
  • Block diagrams
  • Instrumentation specifications
  • Technical documentation
  • Support on-site installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Resolve technical issues and coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal engineering teams.
  • Support the preparation of technical proposals and bids by reviewing requirements, estimating resources, and planning engineering activities.
  • Share project progress with engineering leadership and contribute to successful project delivery.
  • Mentor and support colleagues, helping to develop technical capability within the C&I team.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement through lessons learned, innovation, and engineering best practice.

About You

We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Degree qualification in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation, Electronic Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience delivering Control & Instrumentation engineering projects within a highly regulated industry.
  • Nuclear industry experience is desirable, although experience from sectors such as power generation, defence, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, chemical, or process industries will also be considered.
  • Strong understanding of multidisciplinary engineering environments.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
