Starting salary of £27,030. This role is available until the end of 2026.

Purpose

  • Provides reliable, professional and customer‑focused people support to colleagues and managers across day‑to‑day people processes.
  • Supports consistent application of people policies and procedures, contributing to a positive colleague and manager experience.
  • Plays a key role in the effective and compliant delivery of people services and employee relations processes.

Key Accountabilities

  • Deliver accurate and timely people services across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contractual changes, payroll liaison and leavers.
  • Act as a first point of contact for colleague and manager queries, providing clear, helpful guidance on people processes, policies and next steps.
  • Support employee relations activity by coordinating cases, preparing documentation and providing procedural guidance under the direction of Senior Administrators or the Manager.
  • Maintain accurate colleague records and HR system data, ensuring confidentiality, data integrity and compliance with agreed standards.
  • Follow established workflows, SLAs and controls, escalating issues, risks or complex queries appropriately.
  • Work collaboratively within the People Support & Services team, contributing to shared learning, service improvement and a positive team culture.

Skills, Experience & Background

  • Experience in an HR administration, People Services or operational support role.
  • Understanding of employee lifecycle processes and HR administration.
  • Basic working knowledge of HR policies and employment law principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence using HR systems or databases.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage workload, follow processes and handle sensitive information.

Qualifications & Professional Practice

  • CIPD Level 3 (or willingness to work towards) desirable.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining current expertise in employment law, people practice, and people service delivery.
