Remote Software Development Engineer

Salary

Salary: £41,000 – £81,000 per year

Requirements

• We require a freelance Software Engineer with experience supporting the design, development and validation of control software.
• We require experience with model-based software design, development, implementation and validation.
• We require experience working within MIL, SIL and HIL environments.
• We require experience supporting EV component design, development and interfacing.
• We require the ability to attend project meetings and support testing and troubleshooting activities on and off site as needed.

Responsibilities

• We support the design, development and validation of control software on a crucial project.
• We support project deliverables across customer, engineering and auxiliary features.
• We consult with project teams on model-based software design, development, implementation and validation in line with agreed processes and industry best practices.
• We deliver vehicle quality management and safety software.
• We develop model-based vehicle control software architecture and plant models within MIL, SIL and HIL environments.
• We support EV component design, development and interfacing within MIL, HIL and on test vehicles.
• We attend project meetings and participate in testing and troubleshooting activities on and off site as required.
