Procurement Specialist

Overview

We are a not‑for‑profit charity offering procurement consultancy to the education sector. We need an experienced Procurement Specialist to lead procurement for a range of categories including facilities, estates, finance, curriculum and ICT.

Responsibilities

• Lead the procurement process for a variety of categories and projects.
• Embed best practice, efficiency and effectiveness within procurement processes and decisions.
• Ensure compliance with UK procurement regulations and legislation.
• Assist in achieving savings for the charity.
• Provide proactive and comprehensive advice on all aspects of procurement to all levels of personnel.
• Manage relationships between the charity, its clients and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Public sector procurement experience, especially within the education sector.
• Knowledge of the Public Sector Procurement Act2023.
• Ability to travel regularly to client premises.
• Strong organisational skills and a positive attitude.

• Salary up to £45,000 FTE per annum, depending on experience.
