Health Care Trainer / Training Advisor

Location: Liverpool

Job type: Full‑time

Working hours: Monday to Friday 9 – 5

Annual leave: 25 days per year plus bank holidays

Graceful Care Group have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our existing training and development team. We are currently recruiting a full‑time trainer who will be responsible for the delivery of our induction training programme in Liverpool. In addition to the delivery of induction training, this role will also include the delivery of annual updates and more specialist topics to our existing care staff.

Requirements

  • Sound knowledge of Health and Social Care
  • Minimum of three years’ experience working within the care sector
  • Training experience is desirable
  • Moving & Handling Train the Trainer certification is desirable
  • Level 3 Award in Education and Training is desirable
  • A sound knowledge of The Care Certificate is advantageous
  • Full driving licence and use of own vehicle is essential
  • Clear DBS check is essential for this position
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Health Care Assistant (HCA)

Location: Merseyside / Greater Manchester

Salary: £12.65 per hour

Job type: Full‑time / Part‑time / Flexible shifts

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
  • Support with meals and medication reminders
  • Encourage mobility and independence
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Maintain clear and accurate care records
  • Report changes in health or wellbeing to senior staff

Requirements

  • Experience in care is desirable but not essential (training provided)
  • A kind, patient and reliable attitude
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
