Position: Venue Manager – Hessle

Salary: £36,340.20 per annum plus bonus opportunities

Hours per week: 45

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for the performance and profitability of a licensed gaming centre
  • Champion company standards and best practice within the venue
  • Marketing, promotional activities and events are delivered correctly
  • Physical and personal security is maintained
  • Cash and assets are controlled, minimizing risk of loss
  • Deliver excellent customer service at all times, building and maintaining relationships with regular customers
  • Operate in accordance with the LCCP
  • Develop and train your team in line with launches, refreshes and company policy
  • Ensure staff are managed appropriately and address performance or misconduct promptly and professionally
  • Recruit and train new team members for the venue
  • Monitor market and competitor activity
  • Ensure venue cash collections follow company procedures
  • Monitor and analyse machine income levels
  • Achieve KPIs and audits, including international compliance
  • Adhere to all health and safety practices and procedures
  • Complete all administration tasks to required standard and on time
  • Promote safeguarding and social responsibility measures
  • Respond positively and promptly to all customer feedback and enquiries
  • Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and ensure all employees adhere to the brand dress code
  • Discourage harassment, bullying, victimisation or discrimination of any kind against employees, management or customers

Qualifications

  • Ability to work to budgeted targets
  • Management experience within retail, hospitality or the gambling sector is desired
  • Experience with management reporting and administration
  • Experienced managing a team
  • Experience creating staff rotas
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable
  • Understanding of budgeting and P&L reports
  • Flexibility to work day and night shifts (if venue operates 24 hours)
