Paralegal – Commercial Contracts – Insurance Firm

We are working with a dynamic and growing company within the insurance sector that is looking to hire a Commercial Contracts Paralegal to join their lean legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least 2 years’ experience in commercial contracts who is looking for a role with real responsibility, autonomy, and exposure to high-quality work.

The Role

You will play a key role in supporting the business on a wide range of commercial legal matters, with a particular focus on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of your work and contribute directly to the company’s commercial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts, including supplier, service, and confidentiality agreements
• Advising internal stakeholders on contractual terms and risk
• Supporting the wider legal team on day-to-day legal matters
• Assisting with the development and improvement of contract templates and processes
• Ensuring compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with commercial contracts (ideally within financial services or insurance)
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Commercially minded with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
