A cutting‑edge software provider based in Leicester is seeking an IT Manager/Infrastructure Manager with experience in AWS environments. The role involves delivering software within the cloud, managing vendor relationships, and leading teams to ensure projects are delivered on time.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure successful delivery and implementation of software within AWS infrastructure.
• Work closely with suppliers, third‑party vendors, and service providers.
• Participate in vendor and service sourcing and negotiation.
• Lead and manage a team of IT professionals.

Requirements:

• Knowledge or experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments.
• Strong man‑management skills and experience heading up teams.
• Experience delivering projects on time in a managed service provider or MSP environment.
• Experience with vendor and service sourcing and negotiation.

Additional information:

• Day rate of up to £400 per day, with overheads for relocating contractors.
• The role is based in Leicester, easily accessible from surrounding East Midlands areas such as Nottingham, Burton on Trent, Loughborough and Coventry.
