You will often be the first person clients speak to and the first face they see. Working alongside our RESTART team, you will provide day-to-day administrative and customer service support while completing structured learning as part of your apprenticeship. This is an entry point into a professional administrative career, but you will have real responsibility from day one. We will help you learn our systems, processes and services. What matters is that you are willing to learn, take feedback, follow instructions and take pride in getting things right.

  • Welcome clients, visitors and partners and ensure they are directed to the right person.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls professionally and respond to basic enquiries.
  • Make outbound calls to clients to confirm appointments, provide updates or follow up agreed actions.
  • Schedule appointments and support the management of team diaries and calendars.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to RESTART Advisers and the wider delivery team.
  • Handle correspondence, scanning, filing and document management.
  • Update client and office records accurately and keep information up to date.
  • Support administrative processes connected with the RESTART Scheme.
  • Provide basic information, advice and guidance when appropriate and once trained to do so.
  • Use Microsoft Office and internal systems to complete administrative tasks.
  • Handle personal and confidential information appropriately and keep accurate records following required processes.
  • Communicate clearly with clients, colleagues and external partners.
  • Complete apprenticeship learning, training and assessments within agreed timescales.

You should be willing to receive feedback and learn from it, and understand that reliability builds trust. You will help make reception organised and ready for the day, welcome visitors, check appointments and notify the appropriate Adviser when they arrive. You will handle telephone enquiries professionally and support the RESTART team with administrative tasks as needed. Priorities may change during the day, so you will learn to stay organised and follow processes.
