Role

The Sales Office Manager will be responsible for the sales administration process and support the Sales Director/Head of Sales with all operational and administrative aspects of the sales office, ensuring the highest level of service is provided to all customers.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Coordinate the progression of sales from reservation to legal completion, including liaising with solicitors and collating legal documents as requested, ensuring all targets are achieved.
  • Train and coach sales administration staff, ensuring they are aware of sales department responsibilities and duties, deliver high standards within required timeframes.
  • Ensure adequate covering is provided in the sales office, manage holidays, and ensure staff understand each other’s roles to cover absences.
  • Maintain all sales systems, producing accurate and timely sales reports.
  • Handle customer telephone and email enquiries efficiently.
  • Coordinate the distribution of information between the sales department and other departments within the division.
  • Support the Sales Director/Head of Sales with all day‑to‑day operational tasks.

Experience, Qualifications and Skills

  • Providing high‑level administrative support to senior management.
  • Working in a high‑pressure environment with strict deadlines.
  • Leading an administrative team.

Qualifications and Training

No formal qualifications are required; evidence of relevant experience and skills will be considered.

  • Proficient IT skills with a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to adapt to new systems.
