Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Provide effective, responsive and proactive caretaking and cleaning services to support the safety, security and well‑being of residents.
  • Maintain properties, communal areas and external grounds, ensuring they remain clean, safe and well‑kept through routine inspections and rapid incident response, including out‑of‑hours work.
  • Carry out minor repairs and remedial work in communal areas, promptly reporting any further defects, hazards or required repairs.
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies, exercising initiative and using judgment to protect residents and property.
  • Perform basic building maintenance tasks and keep accurate records of work completed.
  • Use basic IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, e‑mail) to document tasks and communicate with colleagues.
  • Work out of hours as required to meet the needs of the property and residents.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Demonstrable commitment to delivering high‑quality customer service.
  • Practical ability to carry out property maintenance and identify potential problems.
  • Knowledge of relevant health & safety procedures and COSHH regulations.
  • Full UK driving licence.
