Description
- Oversee and manage the day‑to‑day accounting and financial operations of the business.
- Prepare accurate financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic decision‑making.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate and lead the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors.
- Support the senior leadership team with financial insights and recommendations.
- Implement and improve financial systems, processes, and controls.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk effectively.
- Supervise and mentor the finance team to ensure the delivery of high‑quality output.
Profile
A successful Financial Controller should have:
- Professional accounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Knowledge of working in a complex, multi‑entity or project‑based environment – Or, knowledge of a private‑equity or VC‑backed environment – Essential
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate financial information effectively to non‑financial stakeholders.
- Leadership skills to manage and develop a team.
Job Offer
- Salary between 80,000 and 85,000 per annum.
- Hybrid working arrangement: two days in the office and three days working from home.
- 30 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays.
- Non‑contributory pension scheme with a 12.5% employer contribution.
