Electrical Test Operator

Overview

Electrical Test Operator 12 month contract based in Bolton offering £28.35ph Inside IR35. This role requires an apprenticeship to NVQ level 3 and experience in electrical testing. The successful candidate will work with an industry-leading company in the Defence and Aerospace sector and will have opportunities to develop technical skills within the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out test tasks within the operational business
• Certify the product in line with Product Certification procedures
• Maintain product certification and approval via regular audits
• Carry out setting-up procedures for testing
• Carry out tests on electronic equipment in accordance with test instructions
• Carry out simple fault-finding procedures on electronic equipment
• Keep test records and report faults for rectification
• Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process

Qualifications and Experience

• Formal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3 / TR23 / TR21 / ONC
• Formal further education certificate to HNC or equivalent
• Electrical/Electronic testing experience
