Role Overview
We are recruiting dedicated SEND TAs to support schools across Teesside on an ad‑hoc basis, covering staff absence, holidays and providing 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs.
Responsibilities
- Cover staff absence and holiday cover.
- Provide 1:1 support to pupils with SEND.
- Support general classroom work in SEND settings.

Qualifications
- Previous experience supporting children with SEND, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and speech and language difficulties.
- Appropriate qualifications and training for the role.
Safeguarding & Training
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’.
- All candidates must have a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
- FREE child protection and prevent duty training provided to all registered candidates.
