Team Leader – Homelessness Prevention and Housing Options Team
Location: Various Locations. Salary: £40,501 – £47,639. Hours: 36 per week.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction in delivering key statutory Homelessness Prevention and Housing Options services. Ensure a customer‑focused, innovative service is delivered in line with good practice and applicable legislation. Shape the delivery of a developing service during this period of transition.
Qualifications
Education: SVQ Level 4 in a relevant subject. Significant professional experience within a housing environment. Track record of managing staff, projects and change. Will be required to work in any location across Edinburgh.
Pre‑employment checks: This post is regulated work with children or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If an applicant has spent a continuous period of three months or more abroad in the last five years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. A conditional offer will be subject to satisfactory outcomes of these checks.
