Mobile Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical / Electrical / Conveyors) – £58,000 + 15% Bonus (67K OTE) + Pension + Van + Fuel + Tools + Panama Shifts | Woolwich, London
You will be working in a Panama shift pattern (days 03:00‑15:00 and nights 10:00‑22:00), servicing and maintaining conveyors and specialist sorting equipment. The role involves reading schematics, fault‑finding with PLCs, and replacing 3‑phase motors. You will start by shadowing an experienced engineer before becoming a fully‑fledged Mobile Maintenance Engineer, travelling across a regional patch with focus on your local depot.
Responsibilities
- Service and maintenance of sorting equipment and conveyors
- Operate Panama shifts rotating from 03:00‑15:00 and 10:00‑22:00
- Maintain 3‑phase motors, inverter drivers and track & belt systems
- Provide mobile maintenance across a regional patch, focusing on the local depot
Qualifications
- Service and maintenance experience on conveyor systems or similar
- Mechanical and electrical fault‑finding experience
- UK driving licence
