As an RAC Recovery Driver, you will be on the front‑line looking after our members whose vehicles cannot be repaired at the roadside. You will be an integral member of RAC, and key to our continued growth and delivery of exceptional service!
Who are we looking for?
- Passionate about helping people and dealing with a variety of customers in a professional and sensitive manner.
- Can work efficiently on your own with the support of RAC, showing flexibility to meet the needs of the business and its members.
- A logical thinker who enjoys problem solving and can focus on the task at hand under potentially dangerous conditions.
- Has great situational awareness, ensuring the safety of self and members, to minimise risk of accident or injury.
- Has excellent vehicle handling skills and enjoys driving in all conditions.
- Possesses a full Category C driving licence (HGV 2) as a minimum, a Driver CPC qualification, and a digital drivers/tachograph card.
- Embraces new vehicle technology and is comfortable using modern computerised equipment, as well as traditional methods.
