What You’ll Be Doing

• Providing general KS1 classroom support
• Facilitating early literacy, phonics, numeracy and wider learning activities
• Delivering small‑group and individual pupil support
• Supporting children with SEN and additional needs
• Helping pupils stay focused, confident and engaged
• Maintaining classroom routines and positive behaviour
• Collaborating closely with the class teacher and the wider primary school team

You’ll Be a Good Fit If You…

• Have experience as a Teaching Assistant, Primary Teaching Assistant, KS1 Teaching Assistant or classroom support assistant
• Be confident supporting pupils in Year 1 or Key Stage 1
• Be able to support phonics, early reading, writing and numeracy activities
• Have experience supporting children with SEN or additional needs
• Be calm, patient, proactive and reliable
• Be able to support individual pupils, small groups and the wider class
• Commit to a full‑time academic year role from September
• Have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one
• Be willing to complete Humly’s safeguarding and compliance process before placement
