Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for state‑of‑the‑art safety‑critical systems in avionics and submarines.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, architecture design, coding, integration, validation, and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including hardware engineers and systems architects, to ensure seamless integration of embedded software.
- Apply safety standards such as DO‑178 and RTOS best practices to support certification and reliability.
- Work with embedded operating systems (e.g., VXWorks, Ada, RTOS) and device drivers or avionics display technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as C or C++.
- Experience with UML and embedded software development.
- Knowledge of safety‑critical systems, RTOS, device drivers, and avionics standards is highly desirable.
- Experience in safety‑critical programs or related compliance (e.g., DO‑178) is a plus.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
