Role Summary

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to support Bothal Academy’s busy office across its Upper and Lower sites. The successful candidate will manage day‑to‑day administrative work and handle all reception duties, ensuring a welcoming environment for staff, parents and visitors.

Responsibilities

  • Administer daily office activities and maintain administrative systems.
  • Self‑sufficient use of ICT and maintenance of electronic records.
  • Deliver high‑quality customer service, responding to telephone and face‑to‑face enquiries.
  • Manage reception duties, including signing in visitors and operating the telephone.
  • Work enthusiastically as part of the team, building strong relationships with staff, parents and children.
  • Flexibly prioritise workloads to meet deadlines and support the academy’s operations.
  • Uphold confidentiality and protect the welfare of children.
  • Take initiative and exercise good judgement in a fast‑paced environment.

Requirements

Applicants must be able to demonstrate experience in administrative roles, organisational skills and confidence with ICT. The role requires a willingness to work across two sites and to engage with diverse audiences.
