We are a ground investigation consultancy seeking a Geo-Environmental Engineer to join our team and work on a variety of exciting projects across the North of England. The role involves client-facing work and the responsibility to oversee large and medium-scale site investigations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee large and medium-scale site investigations.
• Write factual and interpretive reports.
• Carry out desktop studies.
• Conduct groundwater and gas monitoring.
• Perform soil and rock sampling.
• Carry out borehole logging.
• Liaise with clients.
• Mentor junior team members.

Qualifications

• Experience with UK site investigation techniques from geotechnical and/or geo-environmental positions.
• Degree in a relevant subject (e.g., geology, geotechnical/civil engineering, or environmental engineering).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Live commutable to the Durham office.
• Full right to work in the UK.
