Job Description Senior Litigation Solicitor | £70,000 to £90,000+ (Negotiable) + Benefits | Manchester n Location:  Spinningfields, Manchester n Hybrid working, 3 days in office, 2 from home Reporting Line:  Senior legal leadership and partners Salary:  £70,000 to £90,000+ plus benefits n The Opportunity n A fast-scaling legal business is looking to appoint a Senior Litigation Solicitor to join its growing legal team in Manchester. n This is a senior legal appointment for an experienced solicitor who wants more than a traditional private practice caseload. n You will join a commercially ambitious, high-growth environment where legal judgement, risk assessment, technical quality and operational discipline all matter. n The role offers real responsibility, direct exposure to senior legal leadership and the opportunity to play an important part in how complex litigation work is assessed, managed and progressed. n The Role n This is a senior position for someone who wants scale, responsibility, commercial exposure, progression and genuine influence over how litigation work is delivered. n You will be involved in reviewing legal issues, assessing case quality, advising on risk, supporting decision-making and helping maintain high standards across a growing legal operation. n This role will suit a solicitor who is calm under pressure, commercially aware, structured, accountable and confident enough to challenge risk where required. n You will need strong drafting, case analysis and legal review skills, together with a clear understanding of SRA obligations and regulated legal practice. n More important is your ability to make sound legal decisions, manage complexity, maintain standards, assess risk and understand how litigation quality affects client outcomes, risk exposure and financial performance. n About You n You will be a qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with a current practising certificate. n You will ideally have: n • 5+ years PQE n • Strong litigation experience n • Excellent drafting, analysis and legal review skills n • Sound judgement and the confidence to make clear legal decisions n • A strong understanding of SRA obligations and professional standards n • The ability to work in a fast-moving, high-growth legal environment n • Commercial awareness and the confidence to assess risk properly n • A structured, accountable and detail-focused approach n You do not need to come from an identical background.
