Contentious Probate Lawyer

AJ Chambers are proud to be partnered closely with an award-winning, national law firm as they look to hire a Contentious Probate Solicitor into one of their regional offices. In this role you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to high quality work and high net worth individuals.

Responsibilities

• Engagement in a wide array of contentious probate work including bringing and defending
• I(PFD) A 1975 claims
• Contsruction and rectification claims
• Court of Protection disputes
• Trustee disputes
• Challenges to wills
• Business development activities in an attempt to attract and retain clientele
• Attendance and participation in departmental meetings
• Work collaboratively with other team members on certain cases
• Deliver upon individual targets with supervision

Skills & Experience needed

• Experienced Contentious Probate Solicitor with 1 + years’ PQE
• A good technical knowledge relating to the role and the ability to proactively upskill on any key elements to the position where necessary
• Work well both individually and collaboratively as part of the team
• A pro-active thinker who can take the initiative
• Project personability and confidence to clients and colleagues
• Ability to effectively and efficiently manage your own workload
