Java Lead Developer

Lead backend development within a modern cloud-based architecture, focusing on server‑side logic and high performance.

• Design, develop, and maintain data sources, ensuring integration and responsiveness to front‑end requests.
• Architect and implement scalable, enterprise‑class solutions and reusable code for automated platforms and customer journey engineering.
• Guide and mentor other engineers, evangelizing best engineering practices and quality solutions across the full SDLC.
• Work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, production‑ready features and services.
• Apply strong problem‑solving skills, object‑oriented design, and knowledge of microservices, Java EE (Web Services, REST, JPA), Spring, and Hibernate.
• Leverage experience with service‑oriented and event‑driven architectures, design patterns (Kafka desirable), and unit/BDD testing frameworks.
• Utilize GCP, GitHub, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Harness) for continuous deployment and operational excellence.
• Foster a DevOps and Agile culture focused on continuous improvement and efficient, rapid delivery.
• (Nice to have) Experience with databases (BigQuery, Spanner, PostgreSQL, Oracle), service mesh (Istio), observability platforms (Dynatrace, Splunk), MVC, and additional server‑side/front‑end languages.
