National Account Manager

Contract Manufacturing – Food

South West 3 days + 2 days WFH

ROLE

Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the growth of the B2B & Contract Manufacturing division through a blend of strategic account management and new business development. You’ll be responsible for developing long‑term partnerships with branded and own label food manufacturers, identifying new commercial opportunities and delivering sustainable, profitable growth.

As the commercial lead for your customer portfolio, you’ll develop commercial proposals, business cases and customer presentations, whilst identifying new revenue streams across the UK FMCG market. Working closely with colleagues across Commercial, NPD, Technical, Marketing, Supply Chain and Operations, you’ll gain a deep understanding of the business’s manufacturing capabilities and help deliver customer solutions across multiple product categories.

This opportunity would suit an ambitious and experienced Commercial NAE ready to step into their first NAM role, or an existing National Account Manager looking to join a growing business where they can make a genuine impact and accelerate their career.

  • Experience within a commercial role in an FMCG environment.
  • A proactive, ambitious mindset with a genuine hunger to develop new business.
  • Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercial acumen with the confidence to negotiate and identify growth opportunities.
  • A collaborative approach, working effectively across multiple internal functions.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Must be comfortable with working in the South West region 3 days per week, and 2 days working from home.
