Job Summary

An award‑winning software house is recruiting for a Senior/Mid Level Java Developer. The role involves designing, developing, and documenting software that meets the application requirements. You will work closely with other Java Developers on design decisions, and you will report to the Technical Team Leader.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using Java SE, JDK 7, JEE, and J2EE technologies.
• Implement RESTful services with JAX‑RS, CDI/Weld, and EJB 3 Stateless Session Beans.
• Interact with databases via JPA and manage persistence logic.
• Collaborate with the team to evaluate design options and guide application direction.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Experience with JEE/J2EE frameworks and Wildfly 8 application server.
• Knowledge of RESTful libraries (JAX‑RS), CDI/Weld, and EJB 3.
• Experience with JPA and relational database integration.
• Java certification is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, design and documentation skills.
