Contract: 12 months fixed‑term. Hours: 40 hours per week. Salary: £76,582 per annum, plus London Zones £2,162. Closing: 15/07/2026 23:59.

Main duties of the job
Applicants must meet the essential criteria:
- Completed Specialty Registrar training (CCT) in Radiology or equivalent.
- Hold full FRCR (Part 1, Part 2a and 2b) prior to commencing the post.
- Full registration with a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at the time of application.
The role will be approved by specialty and service leads. The post holder will actively participate in the general workload of the imaging departments, and cover out‑of‑hours evening and weekend shift rota.

Person specification – Qualifications
- Full FRCR (Part 1, 2a and 2b).
- Full registration with GMC with LICENCE to Practice.
Training and Experience
- Wide experience in all aspects of general radiology, culminating in award of Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or equivalent.
- Knowledge/experience of radiology emergencies.
- Competent to work, reporting of on‑call CT and ultrasound without direct supervision where appropriate.
- Experience in day‑to‑day organisation of radiology services in a busy acute hospital.
- Demonstrates breadth of experience and awareness in and outside specialty.
Skills
- Effective communicator, able to work in a close‑knit team and co‑operate with all medical and paramedical staff.
- Flexible and resilient.
- Familiarity with information technology and general computer skills.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
