Rotating 3-Shift Pattern (Monday-Friday)
Week 1
- Monday-Thursday: 6:00am-2:00pm
- Friday: 6:00am-1:00pm
Week 2
- Monday-Thursday: 1:45pm-10:00pm
- Friday: 12:45pm-6:45pm
Week 3
- Monday-Thursday: 9:45pm-6:15am
- Friday: 6:45pm-11:45pm

We’re looking for an electrically biased Multi‑Skilled Engineer to join our Brewery Engineering team in Middleton. The Opportunity
Reporting to the Brewery Engineering Lead, you’ll be responsible for keeping our production assets operating safely, efficiently and reliably.
No two days are the same. You’ll work closely with production and engineering colleagues to minimise downtime, improve equipment performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across brewery equipment
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults quickly and effectively
- Respond to production breakdowns to minimise downtime
- Support continuous improvement projects that enhance reliability and productivity
- Assist with equipment installation, modification and commissioning
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site standards
- Work collaboratively with production teams to improve plant performance
- Maintain accurate maintenance records through the CMMS
About You
You’ll be an experienced maintenance engineer who enjoys working in a manufacturing environment and takes pride in finding solutions.
- Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering (BTEC, NVQ or equivalent)
- Strong electrical fault‑finding skills
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
- Experience maintaining manufacturing or process equipment
- Experience working with pumps, motors and gearboxes
- Strong problem‑solving skills with a proactive approach
- Calm under pressure with excellent communication skills
- HNC in Electrical Engineering
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing
- PLC fault‑finding experience
- Steam system experience
- Food, beverage, brewery or FMCG manufacturing experience
