Senior Clinical Pharmacist – Rotational

Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic clinical pharmacists to join our large and friendly team delivering diverse pharmacy services within one of the country’s largest teaching trusts.

Responsibilities

• Provide complex pharmaceutical care for patients, optimising medicines and ensuring the safe and effective transfer of care.
• Work with specialist pharmacists for mentoring and receive ward‑based support from medicines management technicians.
• Participate in a 12‑month rotational programme designed to build clinical knowledge and skills.
• Engage with multidisciplinary teams across the hospital.
• Line‑manage and mentor junior pharmacists and MPharm students while building a portfolio for career development.

• Admissions / Emergency Department
• Admission ward (within first rotation)
• Cardiology
• Renal medicine
• Thoracic & critical care
• Paediatrics
• Trials & clinical research
• Antimicrobials & ePMA
