Description
An award winning software house is recruiting for a Senior/Mid Level Java Developer. The role involves utilizing specific design, analysis, tools, documentation, and language capabilities to deliver the required functionality for the software development. You will work with other Java Developers on design decisions and the direction of application requirements, reporting to the Technical Team Leader.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Java applications using Java SE, JDK 7, JEE, and J2EE frameworks
- Design and implement RESTful services using JAX-RS and CDI (Weld)
- Build and maintain EJB 3 stateless session beans
- Use JPA for data persistence
- Collaborate on design decisions and application requirements
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Java development
- Proficiency with Java SE, JDK 7, JEE, and J2EE
- Experience with Wildfly 8 application server
- Knowledge of RESTful libraries (JAX-RS) and CDI (Weld)
- Experience with EJB 3 stateless session beans and JPA
- JDBC and XML proficiency
- Version control experience (Git, SVN) and build tools (Maven, Gradle)
- Experience with SOAP, Redmine, JUnit
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
