Description

Test Team Leader, Senior Tester, Test Lead. Agile/Scrum, TDD, Manual/Automated, ISEB, .Net, WEB/SAAS, ASP.Net, MVC, man-management – Nottingham 40-45K

Test Team Leader will lead a growing team of testers, responsible for line‑management, recruitment, appraisals, training, influencing change and direction. The role involves development of .Net Cloud/SAAS solutions within a dynamic, constantly evolving department, reporting to the Head of Development.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of testers, including recruitment, training, performance appraisals, and team development.
• Influence and drive change within the organisation, contributing to product development and process improvement.
• Hands‑on testing across manual, exploratory, TDD, and automated approaches within .Net MVC environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to design and implement effective testing strategies.
• Ensure quality standards and project delivery objectives are met.

Required qualifications and experience:

• Strong knowledge of ISEB/ISTQB, Agile/Scrum frameworks, and exploratory testing.
• Experience with .Net, MVC, and web/SAAS solutions.
• Proven ability in Test Lead/Team Leader roles with line‑management responsibilities.
• Hands‑on testing experience, including automated and TDD.
• Commercial awareness with a positive impact on future product development.
