Responsibilities
- Providing reception and administrative support under the direction of the Office Manager
- Being the first contact/front line in receiving visitors, staff and students to the Academy
- Answering the telephone and dealing with external and internal calls
- Assisting with the preparations for Academy events, projects and functions
- Preparing Academy letters
- Attending occasional open evenings, prize giving and other Academy events
- Maintaining a high degree of confidentiality concerning members of staff and students
- Carrying out responsibilities in line with the Academy’s policies, organisation and Health & Safety arrangements
- Carrying out duties in line with equality and diversity principles, promoting a harmonious working environment
- Being committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people in accordance with the safeguarding policy
- Performing other duties as required

Educational Requirements
- Formal qualifications including GCSE (or Level 2 equivalent) in Mathematics and English Language, or similar qualifications gained since leaving compulsory education

- Experience in a similar environment
