Maintenance Operative

This role is for a Maintenance Operative based in Leeds, covering northern sites for a client in the student accommodation sector. Offered on a full-time, temporary basis at £15.03 per hour, the position involves preparing rooms for new arrivals to a high standard.

Key Duties

• Basic painting and decorating
• Minor plumbing repairs
• Replacing silicone in showers and bathrooms
• Furniture repairs and general maintenance
• Carrying out room checks and completing remedial works

Requirements

• Previous experience in general maintenance or property repairs
• Ability to work independently and manage your workload
• A good eye for detail and pride in producing high‑quality work
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
• Will be based at one site, so a driving licence is not essential if you can travel reliably

Working Days & Hours

5 days out of 7 – will include weekends, as it’s shift work with shifts between 7:00am and 8:00pm.

Hourly Pay Rate: £15.03 per hour.
