Overview
Public Health Nursing Team Leader (0-19 Public Health Nursing Service) based in Bath and North East Somerset. Base locations include St Martins Hospital, Keynsham Children’s Centre, First Steps, Twerton, and Paulton Hospital. The post provides professional, managerial and clinical leadership to achieve positive outcomes for children and families, supporting the Service Manager to deliver services that meet required quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Direct line management and clinical supervision for Specialist Public Health Nurses within the integrated 0-19 Public Health Team.
- Oversee the supervision and line management of the skill mix team.
- Complete and oversee annual appraisals and personal development plans; monitor training needs and ensure team compliance with training.
- Provide professional and clinical leadership to the 0-19 Public Health Nursing Service to meet quality standards and deliver positive outcomes for children and families.
Qualifications
- Registered SCPHN (Specialist Community Public Health Nurse)
- Full driving licence with vehicle access
- IT literate
