Senior UX/UI Designer

Company: Tangible
Apply for the Senior UX/UI Designer
Location: London
Job Description:

Tangible is a fintech platform providing liquidity in private markets, including private equity and real estate. We operate a digital auction platform and build tailored marketplaces for financial institutions. We move fast, care about craft, and believe great design is a core driver of our product.

We are looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer to join our product team full-time. You will own the end-to-end design of our financial products — from user research and customer journeys through to pixel-perfect interfaces — and work closely with our product, engineering, and leadership teams. You will be our primary designer, so strong UX thinking is as important as visual execution.

Tasks

  • Own the full UX/UI design process: research, wireframes, customer journeys, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into intuitive experiences
  • Maintain and evolve our design system to ensure consistency across products
  • Apply best practices in UX design to ensure seamless, user-friendly experiences in a complex financial context
  • Leverage AI tools, including Claude, to accelerate design iteration and exploration
  • Ensure high quality of user experience, including accessibility (think WCAG)
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging design tools, and fintech UX patterns
  • Present and articulate design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Enable engineering teams with technical aspects of interaction design
  • Work autonomously and manage your own workload in a fast-paced, remote environment

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, ideally in fintech, banking, or enterprise SaaS
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating both UX thinking (research, flows, problem-solving) and interaction design craft (visual design, components)
  • Proficiency in Figma; experience with design systems and component libraries
  • Solid understanding of user-centred design principles and interaction patterns
  • Experience working with AI design tools and incorporating AI into your design workflow (e.g. Claude, Midjourney, or equivalent)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable presenting work and receiving feedback
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a distributed team
  • Experience in a remote or distributed team is a strong plus
