Overview
Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust, part of the Humber Health Partnership, is recruiting Apprentice Health Care Support Workers. The role is full-time and will work clinically while completing an apprenticeship.
Apprenticeship Details
The apprentice may begin at Level 2 or Level 3 depending on current or predicted outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Support patients with fluid and dietary requirements and menu choices
- Assist with personal care activities such as washing, dressing, and toileting
- Assist with bed making and maintain clean, tidy areas
- Record keeping and maintain accurate logs of patient activities
- Support clinical staff in general ward and clinic duties
Qualifications
- Age 18+ by September 2026 to work required shifts, including 24‑hour rotations
- Current or predicted GCSE results meeting essential requirements listed in the person specification
- Completion of the Care Certificate during the apprenticeship
