Band 2-3 Clinical Support Worker – Recruitment Event

North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting Health Care Assistants for a range of departments at our West Cumbria sites. The role is suitable for those committed to delivering the highest level of patient care, treating colleagues, patients and visitors with courtesy, consideration and dignity.
We will conduct a face‑to‑face interview on a date to be announced. Applicants must be available on that day and for subsequent training; alternate dates are not offered. Interviews will assess our values of kindness, respect, collaboration and ambition.

Qualifications
- National Care Certificate or commitment to complete as part of induction
- Level 3 vocational qualification in health and care
- Competence and experience in a range of care and clinical or therapeutic procedures
- Numeracy and literacy GCSE level 4 or above or equivalent
Knowledge & Experience
- Experience in health or social care
- Experience with clinical observations and escalation
- Working knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding
- Understanding of best practice documentation and confidentiality (including GDPR)
- Familiarity with NHS and social care policies and clinical procedures
- Awareness of Trust business operations

Disclosure and Barring Service Check
The position is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975. A Disclosure and Barring Service check will be required; costs are salary‑deducted over four months or a one‑off payment (standard check £28.00, enhanced check £56.00).

Salary
£25,272 to £27,476 per annum, pro‑rata
